Where do I vote on Election Day?

Oregon has all-mail voting. After receiving your ballot, fill it out and mail it in, or you can drop your completed ballot into a dropbox near you.

To find yours, visit the Oregon Dropbox Finder.

Ballots will be mailed out about 2 weeks before the election. Completed ballots must by received no later than 8:00 pm on Election Day.

Can I vote by mail?

Any registered voter in Oregon can request an absentee ballot to vote by mail!

I'm in college away from home, which state do I vote in?

You can either register to vote in Oregon or the state you're attending school in — but not both!

I'm not in the US right now, how do I vote?

If you are a military voter or a United States citizen living abroad, you should request an overseas absentee ballot.

What ID do I need to vote?

All of Oregon's elections are vote-by-mail, so ID is not needed when voting. The signature on your ballot return envelope will be matched to your voter registration to verify your identity.

What if I have a disability?

Several bills have been passed to ensure voters with disabilities still have reasonable access to privately cast their vote in Oregon.
